Joby Martin
Joby’s strong leadership and strategic thinking skills led him to the Executive Pastor role at BEACH in 2009. He also serves as the lead teaching pastor for the style of worship at Beach known as Eleven22; a muliti-generational service heavily influenced by the 18-35 year old culture.
His heartbeat for students and their relationship with Christ led him to BEACH in 2003 as the Pastor of Student ministries. He’s had a huge impact on the lives of middle & high school students and young adults throughout the Beaches community. His passion in ministry is simply “preaching Jesus.”
Joby earned his Master’s of Divinity at the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond, and his undergraduate degree at Virginia Commonwealth University where he graduated Cum Laude.
He is married to the love of his life, Gretchen, and together they have two children, J.P. and Reagan.
Outside of ministry you’ll find him hanging with his family, in the gym working out, or secluded on his tree stand at his favorite hunting spot in South Georgia.
